Not a good idea. Power amps and integrated amps built for the US market
are 120 volt whereas those built for the European market are 220 volt.
Because amplifiers have such a high current draw one cannot use a
standard voltage converter. In fact one would need a very large voltage
converter, one capable of passing the required current to the amp
without any restrictions. Where one can find just such a voltage
converter I have no idea.

So basically, if you need a 220 volt amp, buy a 220 volt amp.
