OK, I know that I said I would shut up, but........

Here is someone who seems to understand how things work. I'll let him
explain as long as he is on target.

BTW......XLR connectors........they -really- are 110 ohms. But, like he
said..........they don't stay that way. (Hint: look at how far apart the
pins are, and how long they are. Look at a BNC. See why now?)
