Do you take seriously the opinion of someone who uses an AV Receiver and talks about audiophile quality? There are two current Arcam AV receivers, one $1999, and one $1599. perhaps if the comparison was to a Meridian controller, but otherwise, its got zero credibility. But don't take my opinion, use the 30 day, no questions asked guarantee.
