Hi Themis- I have that exact AV receiver in my HT and I agree with you that it has a nice sounding DAC. However, where I disagree with you is with the amp section, which IMO isn't very good at all, for my ears anyway. I use a separate power amp with it and, nothing scientific here, but I prefer the sound immensely with the external amp.
