When I was making a digital co ax cable for my new Behringer DAC I trawled the internet for opinions on the "best" cable etc. I came across forums discussing the optimal length for digital co ax cable. Mind you, this was something that I have used in years past when playing with CD Transports and DACs. Somehow the optimum length would be between 1 m and 1.5. The construction of the cable also had a bearing on sound quality. Typically a copper core was preferred over tinned metal as well. So in a way I've come full circle in my search for cables etc. Some opinions still float around in today's audio forums, some valid others not so in the face of new developments. We live in interesting climes (Confucius?)
