hi bpa, what i meant was, is the ease of operation from the standard sc gui.
the background is that somebody mentioned, using the mad-player successfully to decode mp3 and transfer data to the sb, but this sounded quite complicated, requiring some cli-type of input with a lot of variables. maybe i am too optimistic, but what i am looking for, is some kind of nice plug-in for the sc to allow to do the mp3 to flac or wav conversion on the fly on the pc (still operating from the sc´s gui), without using that mp3 decoder in the sb...just like the alien-bbc plug-in does perfectly, when decoding and transmitting rma transmissions. i am really looking for a feasable suggestion here to achieve that goal. maybe my sw-knowledge is not deep enough and i don´t see the forest in the middle of lots of trees, but how to integrate e.g. the mad-decoder in this scheme, is exactly my problem... br duesentrieb -- duesentrieb ------------------------------------------------------------------------ duesentrieb's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=22181 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=57122
