I have a PS3 hooked up as well with a CLUX11SA (to extract the digital
stream from the PS3 HDMI output) and I can easily switch the data rate
limit on the PS3 it converts DSD SACD to 44.1, 48, 88.2, 176.4. 88.2
Sounds better. I recorded it with the Clux11SA and a TASCAM 144 and the
Transporter sounds exactly the same.

The more you A/B it the harder it is to pin point the differences.
Which I am slowly learning the hard way is so true. You think you are
"learning" to the differences when you A/B over and over but you're
actually "learning" how to extract the same "information" from both
regardless of small difference in quality.

But when you casually listen almost all these 88.2 SACD's on the
transporter standout as something special.

If I put the Meridian in Trifield mode I can't hear the difference
(Trifield overwhelms the difference). But if I bypass the Meridian G68
and go straight to DSP6000's I can hear the difference.
