Seems the upper limit will still be 256kbs AAC lossy encoding. I guess
Apple/iTunes still can't afford the larger servers and increased
bandwidth needed for lossless files. Didn't sell enough iPhones. Damn.

However, I shouldn't complain since American Idol winners sound best
when heavily compressed and played back via iTunes through $29 computer
speakers.
