I just purchased (haven't received yet) a duet to feed music into a Nuvo (analog) whole home audio unit. Generally is it better to connect duet directly into Nuvo amp and use SBR DACs or should connect SBR to my Denon 4308 via digital and let it convert to analog and output to my Nuvo. The specs on the 4308 say
24-bit/192-kHz DACs Burr-Brown PCM-1791 PCM-1791A - 2 x 8 channels I could not find anything about which 8 channels have DACs but I am guessing 7 channels of zone 1 and 1 channel of zone 2. Assuming zone 2 has this DAC is it better than SBR's? I don't have all equipment so can't do side by side yet.
