After years of just sitting on the shelf I decided my 1977 Yamaha receiver needed to be put back to work. I found a local classic audio repair shop and they got the receiver back in fine working order for $165. I replaced my Arcam FMJ A32 with the Yamaha and have to say I am very pleased with the sound and it is so much cooler to look at. Seems to be some very positive synergy with the SB3/Yamaha and the Monitor Audio speakers. Am I nuts?
