well here are my thoughts after the TP arrived. I hooked the TP up to my 2ch proceed preamp via the analog connections just as i had my current SB3 connected to utilize their internal DACS. I then level matched the Sb & TP so my wife and I would not be fooled by which is better/worse based on how loud one might be. We both listened to dozens of differenent tracks and we both switched the input back/forth between the two. To be perfectly honest, I struggled to notice a difference. I believe the TP had a quieter noise floor and maybe a bit warmer/natural sound but again very very minimal differences.
I realized that day how well the SB3 performs considering its cost compared to the TP. therefore I am selling the TP and keeping the SB. Its Brand new, silver, and was only used for less than a few hours. All oringinal packaging & etc are included. I would like to get around $1550 plus shipping costs & etc for it.
