Personally, I think HDMI is OK for watching TV and Movies as a one cable solution. I can even see a case for Audio because of bandwidth. The real problem I have with it is that we're on our fourth revision of the standard in about as many years. I don't consider that a standard. HDMI is to hung up on preventing copying in my opinion. It errors on the side of preventing what "might" be copying to easily.
