HDMI also has a built in control protocol, which could in theory let you control your whole AV setup with a SqueezeBox Controller or the web interface. It can also handle up to 8 channels of LPCM at 192/24. Is there anything else in the consumer space that can do that? That seems to me like a couple of very good reasons to seriously consider HDMI. -- funkstar ------------------------------------------------------------------------ funkstar's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2335 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=59207 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
