Nope - my issue is not related to that bug. I stream flac directly to
the TP - I do not transcode. The issue is not with the high bitrate,
but rather with the high compression level. As Sean suspected, it does
seem to be CPU related as changes to the visualizer seem to make the
problem slightly better or slightly worse. Recompressing the flac with
a lower compression level makes the problem go away completely. Doing
that serves as a workaround, but it doesn't fix the bug, which is why
I'd like to file a bug (or have Sean file a bug since he probably has a
clearer idea of what the issue really is).
