I got myself a Dick Smith 30amp regulated linear power supply and set it to 5 volts output. Huge piece of kit but to me it has improved the SB3 on analog out. My new external DAC is a Beresford TC7520 with updated LM4562NA op-amps and IMO is a very good upgrade from the standard DAC in the SB3. However, I've read that a linear power supply will not improve performance when the SB3 is used as a digital output device
