All amplifiers clip, some less offensively than others. The Sugden A21 I
had years ago in my second system was nice at low levels, and gave up
tastefully when pushed too hard, which wasn't difficult to do,
especially on music with a wide dynamic range. Only you can decide for
your music, in your room, with your speakers how much power you need.
I'd look on the small amplifiers in the Sneaky as a bonus - handy for
the kind of person that had the money for a Klimax DS in his main
system, but perhaps wanted a secondary background system in his bedroom
or kitchen, for whom a grand is loose change. Building your main system
around the constraints of a presumably monolithic 20w amp is not a way I
would want to go. Find the speakers you want first, then drive them
properly.
