I don't think anyone is suggesting they ignore the -superiority-,
rather that they misunderstand the potential -equivalence-. You make a
fine point about vinyl and tubes though. I'll be the first to admit in
the pursuit of technical satisfaction you do lose something. Hell, even
tape-hiss adds something positive to the right situation. Barry white,
safari suits and a picnic, anyone?
