The comparison was between a specialized DIY PC called Cmp using a special software Cplay (not exclusive to the Cmp) costing around 1200-1500$ and having a touch screen and a remote, a kind of digital only Transporter or SB. I thought that it could be a possible alternative to even a Transporter. Each device has his enthusiastic followers on the respective device forum, this forum included, but few have compared the solutions. I think that their solution can work and is very very flexible.
