Hi If I swap AES inputs from my CD transport to Transporter at my DAC input, the Transporter measures about 8 - 10dB quieter with the same test track. Any idea why? Seems like the transporter must be throwing away a few bits somewhere? The Transporter is set to have no volume control and outputs 24/44.1, while my cd outputs 16/44.1. Have I got some setting wrong somewhere? I have the EQ plug in disabled for this test.
