If it is possible, connect the PC with SqueezeCenter + your music to your router with cat5 cable.
Performance of wireless and homeplug depends a lot on the environment. As everyone knows about wireless connection issues, it does not need further explanation. As for homeplug, in Europe most houses have different electric 'groups' coming from the fusebox. Traversing the fusebox, from one group to another group, can be problematic for Homeplugs. Homeplug 2 (200Mps) is supposed to be a lot better at that than Homeplug 1 (85Mbps). Other electric equipment with electric motors (fans, fridges, etc) may also emit electric 'noise' causing the homeplug kit to perform poorly. In both cases, wireless and homeplug, it's a matter of trying it out and seeing how it works for you. Wired or wireless has no influence on what is transmitted, so has no influence on the quality. Cat5 offers best consistency.
