I currently have a Transporter as my audio source. 90% of my music is in FLAC, 10% in MP3 above 192K. My musical taste is varied, and includes Classical, Pop/Rock and Jazz from 1950s to today!!!!! I currently have 35523 songs on my music hard drive.
I have an ARCAM A85 Integrated Amp (bought 2001 £749.00) and B&W CDM1NT Speakers (bought 2003 £637.00) on Atacama Nexus 5 Speaker Stands (bought 2003 £70.00). I am using QED speaker cable. I am thinking about upgrading my Arcam A85 Amp. I have been thinking about possible Amps such as Linn Majik-I or Cyrus 8 XPd (these Amps are in the price region of £1500). Any suggestsions for Amps. What speakers would you recommend to go with these Amps? Speaker budget is £1000 to £1500.
