If you have a total budget of £2500-£3000 for amp and speakers, I would advice to spend £2000 on speakers and keep the amplifier under £1000.
In fact, even better, I would advice you to get a pair of £3000 speakers that your amp can drive easily and give up the amplifier upgrade.
