First off, sorry for the cross-post - I'm not sure what forum this
belongs in.

I'm finally taking the plunge to play with room correction. I have a
calibrated mic, cables and an Edirol UA25-EX. The problem is, the Edirol
has two XLR inputs (the only analogue ones) and the switch for phantom
power covers both. Therefore, when I want to take a measurement in order
to power the mic, I need phantom power on, but that means that +48VDC
will be sent to the output of the transporter.

My question is, will this damage the transporter? If I need to but a
separate pre-amp I'll probably just return the edirol and find something
else that has the ability to switch phantom per channel (and
suggestions?!)

thanks very much,
I.
