Hi Sean - thanks very much for the quick answer (and caution). To be honest, I took for granted that it would accept the different input levels, but on reflection, that's a pretty shaky assumption. Looks like the Edirol is probably going back. The reason I got it was because it allegedly has reasonable mic-preamps and was fairly priced (~$200).I'll check some of the other brands of audio interface to see if I can get something that will work out better.
