Its Very Very Good. Listened to some tracks at my local dealer in Edinburgh.
I may go for it's litte brother the moon cd 3.3 as it has a very good digital input, low jitter and more affordable. Here is some data from the Simaudio website "Intended to fulfill the demands of the most discerning music connoisseur, the 750D is a fully balanced design featuring our new M-AJiC32 circuitry (an asynchronous jitter elimination system) built around the ESS SABRE32 Reference Audio DAC. The conversion process uses 8 DACs per channel working in 32-bit Hyperstream So Whats relevent in the Jargon: The LOW Jitter Circuitry for one and The 32 bit processing is explained below "The advantage of using this 32-bit process to reconstruct a 16-bit digital signal (i.e. Redbook CD) is simple; This process interpolates the digital information more accurately by calculating the finer steps with 32-bit resolution that were lost during the analog-to-digital 16-bit mastering process. The result is, after the D-to-A conversion, a more realistic waveform that is incredibly analog sounding" Its a nice bit of kit with a lot of technology on board, check out their web site for information on upscaling, jitter etc, it makes a good read. -- c3p0 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ c3p0's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=20721 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=74102
