OK, I've not yet seen a Touch. But the general impression I get from what I've read around here is that it's a fine piece of kit.
Secondly, it is now blindingly obvious that Logitech are EOL'ing the Transporter. Is the Touch a credible replacement? In some contexts, probably yes. But in others, certainly not. (In my specific case, lack of balanced analogue outputs is a show-stopper). Sure, you can hook up an external DAC to improve things. But the icing on the cake would be to add a wordclock input to the Touch so that suitably equipped DACs can be the clock source. How hard would it be to add one?
