I'm very sceptical, but let's play Devil's advocate...
If (and it's a big if) the WiFi signal is affecting various analogue audio devices, then the fact that there are other WiFi devices around doesn't mean that the additional traffic generated when using your TP in wireless mode won't add to the RF pollution. And when you think about it, streaming audio over WiFi is likely to be generating vastly more packets than typical use such as web browsing etc. And finally, as someone else has pointed out, the amount of potential interference depends on proximity to the RF device. Which analogue audio device is closest to the Transporter's wireless card? The TP's own internal circuitry! It would be hugely ironic if it turned out that it's the TP itself which is the device most affected by RF pollution from WiFi! (I don't believe it for a second - Sean is much too good an engineer to have allowed that). -- cliveb Transporter -> ATC SCM100A ------------------------------------------------------------------------ cliveb's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=348 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=74721 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
