SACD is a dead duck (as far as ripping is concenred it can't be done losslessly - thanks a bunch, Sony), but DVD-A - as Chris says - produces superb rips via DVD-AudioExplorer or Foobar 2000. I have no idea why you think ripping DVD-A is illegal. Fair use is always allowed.
