I use a musical fidelity A3-24 DAC with the duet. The squeezebox sounds much better with the DAC. Imaging and detail are very good and the combo sounds better than my entry level NAD cd player. The bass is very tight and much more defined with the DAC. I do not consider myself to be an audiophile, but I love music and love it much more when it sounds great.
