I can't speak as to the pre-amp, but the amp is some of the best money spent under the $5000 and sometimes $10,000 comparable amps. It is a high current amp with very stable operation making it able to drive just about any speaker. A bonus is that at lower playback levels it is Class A. So for $2300 its hard to go wrong with this amp.
