In the OLD days of recording, my peak meter would often be well over the red... :-) I'm using replygain. -10dB is almost the max setting for my files. The majority are more like -3 to -6 dB. There's quite a few that get a boost of 3-6 dB... Since when was 10dB = 3 bits? -- Phil Leigh You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it ain't what you'd call minimal...
