I finally got a chance to try Touch in my main system. I don't disagree with OP's assessment of Touch vs TP. When compared with TP + ECD-1, Touch was severely lacking (it was very obvious in all types of music), which was expected. There is flattening of soundstage, lack of harmonics, lack of detail retrial, diminishing bass, among many other shortcomings. Yes I am using wired connection for Touch and have done all the software mods other than disconnecting the screen.
I think Touch is great as a second/third system.
