I really don't know how you can say that, since it totally depends on what the digital output is connected to - i.e. the DAC and how well it handles incoming s/pdif or toslink. DAC's can be very different in this respect. If you hear massive differences in bit-perfect transports, your DAC is jitter and/or noise-sensitive.
