Entering parameters is quite simple, what takes time is proper tuning. It is similar process to the piano tuning. You run few same signals over and over, and make one adjustment at a time, until all test tones give you more or less same volume level. Although I did measured my room few times with REW, when I got DEQ2496, I tuned by ear. Why? Because ear sensitivity is not flat
