My view was that Inguz would take time and some messing around to set up
& get workng, which is fine if you have the time to do that. I don't, so
I picked up a s/h DEQ which I had plugged in and operational within 10
minutes.

I'm currently using homemade AES cables (XLR plugs) and it works just
fine, although I have a couple of Toslink cables on order to see if I
can hear any difference.

My suggestion would be to try and pick up a s/h DEQ and give it a go.
You can always sell it on if it's not for you.
