I don't want to have to start going down the route of buying extra cables / equipment to get something working that should work straight out of the box. I have had the CA power amp for around 3 years and it has performed really well. I am using the same input for the TP that the SB Classic was on. I have also tried it on other inputs just to check. It's frustrating as I love the entire Slim Devices range of products and have had most of them over the past few years. This one was going to be the final upgrade.......at least that is what I told my wife ;-)
