Thanks for this, although I must confess to being baffled!

I did not mention that I am using a Mac, SB resides on a dedicated PC
running Vortexbox that 'contains' the SB application.

I cannot find a Firmware directory on the server!

Trying a different tack I ran SB on my Mac and connected the
Transporter to it.  The latest Mac version of SB contains version 80 of
the firmware and it reset my Transporter accordingly!  Similarly though,
I could not find any firmware directory on the Mac (in application
support and preferences etc)

I have now restarted everything from the Vortexbox and restored the
version 81 firmware.

It seems my only option is to wait for SB 7.6 to be stable and included
in a Vortexbox update?
