Well I'm encouraged by the amount of input this has received, at least in terms of brain power. Needles to say you guys are discussing things that are beyond me, but would benefit the end user. It just doesn't seem like something so sophisticated as the Transporter should leave the user with the confusing impression that what they thought they had done - turn the unit off - was really not the case (or is it?).
I totally understand why it's doing this, just don't think it should be doing this. These things are meant to run on 'servers', and for more reasons than just being green - no harm there - servers should be allowed to sleep without confusing the user. Am I correct in assuming this is the case with most of the Squeezebox devices, and not just the transporter?
