I have noticed a smoother sound with the 7.6 (or is it the updated firmware?). I have been back and forth several times from 7.5 to 7.6 due to flakiness with the beta. I keep wanting to give it another shot due to what a perceive as differences in sound. I particularly like the slow filter. Less "up front" sound than the fast filter. Not huge. I guess less of an emphasis on the mids. Dont know. I just switched out my speaker caps for some Ampohms PIO. Bigger change in mids with that change.
