Thanks guys. I take your point on wifi not being different to wired, but the sound at least appears different in blind tests of me and subjects. I do however think that the weak link in my system is my DAC, which is no fault of the DAC as it's proportionally cheap vis a vis the other components.
Ethernet is an option, but I'd still need to have a source, which is currently my mac which is therefore on pretty much constantly. Is there a storage device out there that could hold the audio files and pump this to the SB, sensa mac?
