I agree. In theory, both deliver all bits accurately to the dac, but in
"real life", they may sound differently. In ideal settings, coax work
usually better, as optical needs more signal processing (electronic to
optical and back). On HiFi-oriented forums you will find loooong
discussions about bizarre coax wires, but in this case I absolutely
agree with Phil. You may buy whatever reasonably well built cable
optimised for s/pdif.
