Anyone have any experience with HDMI to Toslink devices? Only audio will be used.
Trying to preserve an excellent path from digital (now USB-out/in) to external DAC (to balanced, to balanced front channel stereo) while using HDMI for source switching. If the path is good (digitally,) only the center/back channels would not run through the DAC. (Eg: not music.) Thanks for your time (I hope.)
