OK - so Inguz (or at least INGUZDSP.EXE) is not installed or is not
being invoked.

Inguzdsp.exe  is the program that actually changes the sound. It is not
being invoked, so you are not hearing any changes to the sound.

First thing to check is that inguzdsp.exe is in your folder:

\program files\squeezeboz\server\bin\mswin32-x86-multi-thread

Assuming it is, the next thing is to check that your settings -
filetypes looks correct:

in c:\program files\squeezebox\server\plugins\inguzeq you should have a
file called custom-convert.conf
can you find this file?
if so, can you post it back here as an attachment...
