Oh, I realise that. I did some DAC comparisons a few years ago and couldn't hear any difference between them. I then upgraded my amp (tweaked it myself by disconnecting the tone controls and upgading the op amps) and, apart from improving the sound, I was then able to hear the differences between the DACs.
