I really think this resampling thing has some traction. I have been,
gradually, resampling my music with a more "intermediate" filter. SoX
25% phase, 95% passband to 24/96 using foobar. More "vinyl" like IMO.
As some may know, I have been nursing my OCD as of late. For historical
perspective, I first questioned the "WIFI is equal to ethernet"
hypothesis and and concluded that ethernet is better (at least on the
Transporter). With much resistance at first. Now I am seeing more
agreement on that.

Now - here we are. Resampling variables do make a difference - for the
positive IMO. Again, this is going to be system dependent. I will say
that this difference has been more accentuated as of late with the new
10g low DSR inductors. In my situation, going to a less linear filter
is beneficial. More natural. Less digital. More enjoyable. I take this
as a challenge to the "vinylphiles" out there. As well as our digital
brethren. Let us be one!
