Value is in the eye of the beholder. I doubt that SF is aiming at the customers looking for high-value loudspeakers. They are selling to people who want to buy a piece of art.
>From a geeky speaker designer point of view I'd put all the money into the transducers and acoustic design but that is rarely how it works. My perfect small monitor design would use a coax design where the midrange is the waveguide for the tweeter.
