Driver manufacturer Seas produces a very nice coaxial driver. I have
used it in a special purpose DIY project, and the imaging was
outstanding. Madisound sells a full speaker kit including ported
cabinet and crossover for these drivers, called the Loki. See

In the past, I owned a pair of Sonus Faber Cremona Auditors (pre-"M").
The sound quality was to-die-for, but I agree SF prices are not good
value, e.g. they now charge $1200 just for the Cremona Auditor M's
*stands*. I also dislike the rather snotty attitude of the company, but
then I guess I'm not their target audience.
