If absolute the ease of use wins, then sonos probably wins. On the other hand, the flexibility and openness of the sb platform make some things a lot better. For instance, iPeng is far superior, imho, to any means sonos offers for browsing. And sonos is hampered by stupid issues like not being able to handle multiple genre tags: ick. Since it isn't an open platform, nobody can just go fix things like this, and there can't be anything externally built like iPeng. For people who can't follow the instructions for programming their dvr, there is sonos.
