There has been some test in Sweden between the different SQ players. One blindfolded test between Duet and Touch and one open test between SB3, Touch and a Majik DS. I wonder why there is in the Sp/dif interfaces differences in level between the players? Is not all bit perfect at 16/44.1? Or are they but still different? Is there some kind of default signal processing always switched on and not possible by the user to switch off? Are different firmwares sounding different although still bit perfect?
