Ah Ha! The bit that was missing was 'Compared against Itself'. I had understood, and got fixed in my mind, that you were comparing the Touch output with the source, not with itself, and hence my confusion. Looking again at the test result it still doesn't hit me in the face that that was what you were doing. I had wondered how you were comparing the analogue out of the Touch with the digital source, but that was going to be my next question once I understood the data. So I definitely had the wrong end of the stick, was barking up the wrong tree, etc..... It all makes sense now.
